Aggression

Hello! I have a pair of bonded clowns. I’ve had them since November, and they’ve never been aggressive towards each other until recently. The female chases and bumps the male until i separate them. Then she goes back to swimming by his side and being all buddy buddy.
What are these random spurts of aggression? Male has not been injured yet but I am kind of worried.
My male clown also eats more than the female. She is very picky with food. Is this normal?

Normal, don't separate them. As clowns mature the dynamics change, they have spats. The male sometimes has to be reminded of his place in the hierarchy.

Is it normal for the male to eat more than the female? What do you feed ur picky clowns? She loves tigger pods and copepods but they’re so expensive and my tank isn’t big enuf to grow them in the back

My Black and White female clown would repeatedly grab the male by the fins and slam him around the tank. Eventually they resolved the issue and all was normal. Another year would go by and it would happen again.
I feed mine frozen, pellets and flakes. Unless you see weight loss I wouldn't worry.

I feed the just frozen and pellets and tigger pods as treats. Thank you
