aggressive hermit crab

I have a (aggressive/instigator?) hermit crab that goes after another. They are the same size. The one will run after the other, and the other runs away. When they run into each other, this keeps on happening. Why is this happening? How do I prevent them from fighting?

I wouldn’t worry about it I have some that do that to natural selection it happens.

i have a larger one that i think whittled down my other hermit population

one day i saw him getting aggressive on my conch, which was a big mistake on his part.

to the sump he went! he lives the solo life now
