I added a Rusty Angelfish to my tank but my normally timid Lawnmower Blenny doesn’t seem to enjoy the new addition. Any thoughts on reducing the aggression towards the angelfish? Also feel free to post other aggressive or strange Lawnmower Blenny stories.

Do you know a way to entice him into eating the nori? I tried feeding him nori before but he never takes a bite.

i had a similar situation except the blenny was introduced after but it would chase my clowns out of their leather and the blenny would perch in it and anytime my clowns got close the blenny would chase them away. it lasted probably less then a week until i think it just forgot and the clowns were able to stay in their leather again.

Blennies will sometimes attack fish that they perceive as competitors for algae on rocks.
So, tangs, angels, foxfaces, etc are all fair game.
I've got a blenny that has sucker punched all of the above.
One hit and he then flees before they can react.
Leaves a nice mouth-shaped scrape mark on their sides.
I've never seen a blenny take to nori. And certainly not before all the other herbivores devour it.
