wow what a collection. your killin me. dont frag for anyone. I want to see this bad boy grow out. what a zoa collection. When all those sps start growing what are you going to do for cal/alk?

nice looking rock work. and will look even better when frags grow up

spike- thanks. i am trying to be "picky" about the pieces i add to the tank. their are so many diff. options for sps but i really want to stick to the rare-ish pieces. and yes i also have a zoa addiction. :) i prob. wont be fragging any of the sps anytime soon. they are all rather small frags.
as far as the sps usage of chemicals, right now its gonna have to be manual addition. i dont have a calcium reactor or anything and prob. wont be getting one anytime soon, after the money weve spent on everything else weve had to buy lately.

very very nice Amanda... :)

that will be killer when the rocks are covered with corals... :)

Thats cool. If I was more into sps I think I would use a dosing pump before anything else (assuming Kalk was not enough). I just seems the easiest solution to me. Plus you can start with bulk supplys and do it by hand until It is to much of a PIA. Do you have any behind the seen or room Pics. Im digging the tank if you cant tell.

here is our pair of onyx clowns - they are still very tiny- maybe around an inch and the other a half inch

right now it just one big cord mess underneath. we need to go thru and get it a lil more organized and marked.. so we know whats what...

marv- thanks for the nice comments. i hope it will look nice all grown in too ! :)

spike- glad you are liking the tank, its been fun and a pita all at the same time ;). we dont have a fish room as behind the tank is our downstairs bathroom. so its just whatever will fit in the stand. :) our chiller (taller style one) sits next to the cabinet.

its interesting I dont see a fuge. Dont see that to much anymore.
As for the cords have you seen the dj switches alot of people use. I think melev show it on his site. thanks for the picks Amanda

yeah your right, no fuge. i have considered it but havent figured out a way to do it. i dont have much room under there.

Beautiful frags. Its like you stole half my list or something. As far as the fuge I think i might have some ideas if you are interested. If you are intersted holler at me. As far as dosing I use Kalk as my topoff water. Works great, is simple, and a lot cheaper than two part. I mix up five gallons at a time and let my dosing pump add it continually through the day. No spikes and great levels. Happy reefing
