I have brand-new Hydra 32, I purchased in April this year never used until now and notice all lights turn on except violet?

Before I contact AI should I do factory reset to see if it reboots?

I would make sure (in the App or controller that you're using) that the violet is set to be on. Then I would try to reboot. I might call AI tech support sooner than later so that while you're waiting for them to call - you can do the testing you need to do. When I called them they did not always get back immediately. Good luck

Hi mate how’s it going, I just got my brand new 32HD today and my violet, green and red aren’t working. How did you go?

Been through the merry-go-round of customer service and have ended up in contact with the wholesale distributor of AI to Australia. Basically have to send the light back at my own cost to get fixed or replaced. Absolute pain in the butt and I would not recommend buying these online if you are in Australia. Worst of all I’m going to have to buy a brand new replacement light before I even send this one off.

Been through the merry-go-round of customer service and have ended up in contact with the wholesale distributor of AI to Australia. Basically have to send the light back at my own cost to get fixed or replaced. Absolute pain in the butt and I would not recommend buying these online if you are in Australia. Worst of all I’m going to have to buy a brand new replacement light before I even send this one off.
Very different in the states, I live in Florida and they basically asked for my credit card and placed a $1 dollar non-refundable fee. They are sending me a brand new same light 32HD hydra in black, I am to send my defective one in a prepaid box back.

If I don't or I keep the broken one, they will charge my credit card the full amount of brand new that was sent, so as you can see it's a buy back program for even exchange, minus the $1 fee.

Or if I wanted, I could've just sent my defective one and waited for it to be fixed or they send me a new one. Unbelievable how they treat the good people of Down Under....

My recollection was that it was the same - you had to pay in full for the replacement. (In the US) Then it was refunded.

Curious - why not just return it to the online vendor you bought it from?

Because all they do is send it to the wholesaler, so i can skip that step and save some time by sending to the wholesaler myself.
Right - I assumed that then you would pay less postage.

Received my replacement yesterday unpacked it set it up and it works like a charm. Old one is packaged in same box with prepaid return label.

I am very pleased with Aqua Illumination and I own three of their lights.

I have had 2 ai refugium lights and one 32 hydra. Both refugium have now died and I have lost Royal blue on the 32. If in Australia do not buy AI lights. ****est support going around and you end up not getting anywhere. This is the span of only one year. 1500 waisted with not much to show for it. I have given up on them. Never again. I now have Orphek and waiting for the rest of the unit to surely die on the hydra.
