Ok I really have a dumb question now... My lights aren't scheduled to come yet but my WIFI through Comcast is out will that effect the lights?
No, it shouldn't. After a hurricane, my wifi was out for a couple of days longer than the power and my light came on as if nothing happened.

They should still work, they "memorize" the schedule. Assuming you already had them working ... Plus you should be able you access them with a smart phone if need be.

WIFI being down will effect you using the app to set your light schedule, and anything involving the light. However, if your WIFI is down and your schedule is set and on, it won't effect the lights.

Also, if you create an AI account, you can program it from anywhere without being on your specific WIFI.

@jsker just downloaded and added your setting, can you please tell me the preferred lunar on time and off time?

I have the lunar start as soon and the light are off until light on. With the setting you now have that would be from 9pm to 9am at %1 blue. FYI the light will ramp up and down during moon phases, I really like using the lunar mode.:)

@jsker @Jaysushi
I have been using the TQ1 D.Saxby respiration schedule for the last two months and have faced the same algae issue as of Mr.Jsker ofcourse also due to swing in phosphate. now I brought my phosphate in control and also thought of changing the light schedule and came across from the plan from Mr.Jsker, I feel its good so I gave a try yesterday and been using Lunar for the first time. It looks cool and I enjoy it. Thanks Mr.Jsker...

Thank you, and your welcome.

From as much could gather from reading, Diatom, cyano are alway present in our system. It what aggravates it that brings it out.
I agree @Ponraj A the phosphate change is one issue for cyano and lighting. Diatom I have pretty much got it down to to much white and to long of a time.

Hello, I thought to leave here the latest light parameters I have been using now for more than 3 months with very nice results in both growth and colors. No algae boom, I am running a RSM S-500.

The photoperiod is 12 hours with a 4 hours ramp up starting at 10AM.
