AI light

Hello, I have 2 hydra 32 AI lights and I seen these reef breeder light meridian with the curved light to cover most and less shadows like the picture. BUT instead of Reef Breeders I want it to be with AI and I lowkey need some help to think what I can do with the glow and grow blade any videos or suggestions would be amazing!!!

AI sell a bracket for this, but it doesnt tilt from what I understand (it mounts over the Hydra lights).

I just had some custom brackets made to fit my HMS rail to do this exact set up - also added 2 to the end of the tank also.

Yea I seen those from AI but I don’t like that it’s still flat and I want it curved a bit too atleast diffuse some light. Under the rocks. And for your lights where did you get them? Do they custom make different kind too?

I drew these up myself in some 3d software - then had a local metal working company make them for me :-)

You can basically custom make exactly what your after - the cost should be similar to what AI charge for their's anyway.

Oh cool! I honestly didn’t think about that! But now that you mentioned it, I’m going to see if anyone could do that and you able to help me out to draw it out? Unfortunately I don’t have no one around me that knows how to map out like the mounting system

Really depends on how your planning on mounting them - are you using the HMS rail also?

Well I have the single mountings so I was thinking like something connecting together so one to connect both 32 and then 3D printing the extra pieces for the blades but being adjustable

It could be done for sure, my only concern would be all the weight being on the rear glass.

You may be better off with a HMS rail that mounts to your 2 side panels via the single mounts?
