Hello, so I am running an AI prime 16 on a fluval 13.5. My tank is roughly 10 months old, and has really started to show many positive signs towards maturity. As I have slowly dialed my tank in I have patiently waited until I felt the ecosystem was ready to sustain sps and lps growth. I am to the point that everything not only seems sustainable long term, but is showing positive health and growth across the board. Not just coral wise but the ecosystem as a whole. I however am in a great debate if I am getting enough out of my light to maintain optimal coral health and growth. Please leave me your input on the two schedules displayed below. I know the ultimate answer par meter, but at the moment I’ve done well without it so I’d just like to get the feedback. Much appreciation to all contributors.

water

nitrates - 3 to 5 ppm
Phos - 0
DKH - 12
Cal - 480 - 500

Dosage Schedule

Fusion 1 and 2 - 2.5 ml daily
Seachem zooplankton 5ml every 3 days
Seachem phytoplankton 2.5 ml every 3 days
Coral-Vite 3ml once a week

the two photos displayed show the options I am debating. Since I haven’t rented a par meter I’ve only been able to dial in the light slowly via the community’s recommendations on this topic. I felt I needed to beef up the par a little bit more for my los as well as my sps as health has always seemed positive, but growth has been slow. My softies flourish, but again that’s what softies do early. As I’ve waited patiently and tweeked slowly I’m at the point that ultimately I feel getting my light dialed in to optimal performance is my last obstacle. The first photo you see is what my schedule used to be. The second photo is what I switched it to recently. All in all the schedules run 10 hours of growing time, with a 1 hour ramp up on sunrise and sunset. I have seen mild coral irritation since the change, but I want to be patient because I know every adjustment once made needs time for the coral to adjust. Please all input is valued.
