hey guys

I am struggling to get a good and nice setting for my Red Sea Max Nano.

I do have SPS on the upper part of the tank and Zoas, LPS on the lower part.

I dont know if my light is too intense, but the zoas dont open very nicely and the SPS do kinda great. I used to have all at around 115% and green/red at 4% and white at 35%

Now I thought to change to that.

Is anyone here keeping sps and lps and zoas with a AI Prime HD who can help me?

I run an AI prime on my 20 gallon I run all channnels at 75% and whites at 30% I get a par between 80-150 around my tank. I would say rent a par meter to get your values because everyone is gonna have a different opinion.

Well thanks for your answer. I am afraid but here in switzerland theres like no possibility to rent a PAR meter from anywhere. Thats why I am struggling to get an optimal light...

However, with everything 115% and white 30% red/green 4% my SPS in the upper 3rd of my tank seem to do pretty fine (pocillopora) but my Zoas seem not to open and also my Barierum (Green Star Polyps) dont open. My Acan also ops but is placed on the sandbed.

Maybe someone having a similar reef can help out with his settings.

I am not on facebook, therefore I cannot join this AI Prime group.

I run one prime over a Nuvo 20. So 13” height. Light is about 10” off the surface of the water. About a 1” sand bed so, light to sand about 22”. Have zoas, two bubble tips, LPS, monti cap, one pocillopora, everything is happy (knock on wood).

Here’s what I run.

thanks buddy!
Looks awesome! Well I decreased intensity and my corals seem to be happier now! The most today opened, hopefully it was that :)

Light is 11”-12” off the water. Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25 with mostly softies and LPS. I have one SPS that's doing well and I will be adding 3 more SPS frags in a week or two
