I just upgraded from a current marine orbit LED to a AI Prime HD on my 20 gallon innovative marine tank. I've been trying to research settings and decide what/how to run the light at. Currently I set it to the BRS ab+ and have it on 50% acclimation mode for the next month. The tank is all LPS and softies with no SPS. Does anyone have advice on if this is a good setting for these corals or is this too much?

Settings:
UV 119%
Violet 116%
Royal 79%
Blue 80%
Green 4%
Deep Red 4%
Cool White 19%

0600-0800 blue goes to 4% then at 0800 all ramp up for 2 hours, 1000-1800 runs at above settings then ramps down from 1800-2000, blue at 4% from 2000-2200.

i tried the BRS ab+ and my corals seem not to be happy (LPS and SPS). I have since customize my schedule with higher blues, less uv no greens or reds and 9% whites for 5 hrs.

That is what I run on my Fluval 13.5. I have not checked the Par yet. But I have the light 8 inches off the water. Tank is 18 inches tall. I keep everything on the sand. SPS is on a rack about 1/2 way up. Keeping Acro's and Stylo's. Up there. You just have one Prime?

I have a very similar setup as you; 13 gal nano, all LPS/softie. I have the AI Prime as well. I ended up downloading David Saxby's light schedule from the AI website. However, I did modify it to reduce the cool white a bit, and set acclimation to 50%. Corals are doing great, lots of new growth

I have a similar setting. It’s Saxby setting with way less white. I keep it at about 25% acclimate. two primes over a reefer 170. I have have way better growth with this over the modified AB+ I ran for 5 months.

There’s some good settings that you can download off of AIs website under their signature series. Run. Saxby or Vazquez. Realistically download all of the profiles and try them all.
