Ai prime on biocube hood

I have seen it in a few pictures, if a hole is cut in the lid and the ai prime sits on the lid, will there be amble coverage?

I've never seen it, but it would depend on how high off the water that makes the light sit. I think for optimum coverage most LED lights go for between 8"-14" average off the water.

Took me forever to find the Picts but yes you can but...you need to raise it above the water more. I made an acrylic extension on the lid and that helped the spread

Then I got tired of looking at that and just got rid of the lid and mounted the prime with the flex mount and made a screen lid. Either way expect to trim some of the plastic around the top
