If I was going to use a preset lighting schedule for my 2 AI Prime 16s. Saxbys for example, should I ramp up the intensity of the lights since I'm only using 2 16s and his set up includes way more lights in use? I also have diffusers on my primes if that makes a difference as well.

When I tested Saxby download ("as is"), PAR was only about 50% higher in each spot than my settings and I run fairly low PAR -- 2x AI Prime 16 HD LEDs on 40 breeder.

Renting PAR meter is obviously best but you can skim through the PAR Database thread on R2R to try to find similar tank to yours using Primes (maybe).

This is my older PAR results in that PAR Database thread, just to get you to that thread:

PAR Results

EDIT -- meant to mention that post was before I added diffusers.
I've since added diffusers and increased intensity by about 30% to get to about the same PAR.

I would caution you - in one regard. If you just want to use a protocol, use one from AI - The other tank settings reflect the corals In that tank IMHO. The other protocols have been used/tested in multiple tanks

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
