I currently have a 20 long as a frag tank and QT for non-fish. I'm looking to upgrade it a bit. I won't be running a sump, so AIO it is. Max length is 36" and max width is 18" . Would like something around
36L x 12/18w x 12-18h.

I don't really care about price but value is always important. I don't pay for names, I pay for functionality and quality.

The only AIOs I've ever used over the years are JBJ and oceanic cubes.

I'll be running LEDs over this with no hood. I'll be building my own high stand to keep kids hands out of tank.

The Waterbox 50.3 looks really nice. I'd probably go the peninsula configuration and black out the back wall. Less space taken up by the AIO. Anyone use this as non peninsula?

Also thought about a 40b with a fijicube aio insert.

What do you all recommend for this type of setup?

That's my leaning too. Everyone seems to really like them and they look well built.

The Waterbox must be so leaps and bounds better that nobody else feels the need to comment! ;Woot

NuvoAquarium for me. Top notch quality. I was so excited to get one, and yeah it is exactly what I hope it would be.

The stands ain't great though, if you have an alternative go for it.

But Nuvos... yeah love them.
