AIprime on 16 biocube

Can someone help me here.

We had a storm a few nights ago, and my son's stock light for his bio-cube is not working anymore. I have an AIPrime in my basement that I can put on it, but the mount doesn't sit right with the black lip/ring around the top of the lid.

Is there a better way to mount this?

I've cut a piece of that lip off almost every tank I've ever owned..... Wire cutters work well, cut into the lip twice wide enough to fit the mount, then carefully pry the lip up and down until it snaps off.

I agree. Clip the trim.
