Does anyone know if aptasia eating filefish are safe with LPS and soft corals (Also including BTAs) because I really want LPS, soft and polyp corals and a copperband eats LPS and clams, and peppermint shrimp also eat corals ( I have heard that they can eat corals but I do.not want to risk it) and berghia nudibranchs are avaluable in australia, I just want something to deal with aptasia so I don't.

Yeah that was my thread, it you can go berghias, that's the way I would go. As long as nothing is in your tank to eat them too fast, they work really good. i wish I had remembered before I added the mystery filefish.

I had to trade filefish away....great personality but nipped at all of my lps. It took me a while to actually see him do it as he was a very shy fish.

I have one now and he is getting out pretty soon. I do love filefish but i had him for a month and he just start to nip on my anemones. Like Darren say they are shy so for the moment I put the anemones at my damsel spot so he can gard it while I find him a new home.
