I have noticed that my 30inch overflow has Aiptasia and Mojano in it. I can see it while looking up from my sump toward the tank lighting. My display tank does not have any that I can see. I have one peppermint shrimp that keeps them in check. Any suggestions on how to remove them from the overflow? I cannot reach down from the top to where they are located. My tank is a 125 gallon half moon with the overflow in the middle. I have a reef tank that is mostly softies.
Thanks!!

Can you shut down the circulation, plug the overflow and flood it with freshwater, or other solution, let it simmer for thirty minutes, drain into a bucket, rinse and then restart the circulation again?
