Where did you get that top and does it give enough space access your equipment?

Its one of the BRS Diy kits. I build it myself, so I left enough space for the equipment to fit behind it.

If you are referring to my old glass top, its the aqueon 40 breeder glass hood. I still have it if you want.

I have a aqueon glass cover. I was actually referring to the DIY one you just mentioned.

Its been a while, this tank is not dead!
Due to home renovations, I had to move out for a month with little time for maintanence besides daily feeding. Because of this, many of the corals died.
I have since moved back in, all of the fish are doing fine. I figured out that the culprit for the coral death was mainly due to salinity. I also recently got a protein skimmer, which also will help with coral regrowth.
New skimmer:

Just upgraded to a DSLR, an old Canon EOS Rebel xti.
Only decent pic I've managed so far:

What camera lens are you using for these shots?
I'm using a 35-80mm kit lens with a 31mm extension tube. I have a crop sensor camera so I'm not sure how that translates into a regular camera though.

I currently have a 24 nanocube mixed reef and a 75 softie tank. I am about to set up a 40b to combine the 2 in the middle and I’m going hob with it bc I have the equipment and I’m getting the tank for free. Looking forward to keeping up with your progress.

I'll be breaking my cichlid 40b down and once we are moved and settled in a month or two I'll start it up as a reef with a decent HOB Skimmer to compliment my AC110. Your build is excellent and very much the style I'm aiming for .
