Unfortunately, I was wrong, the sponge does not grow but began to degrade. I moved it to less intense lighting. I am currently observing the condition.

And some more bad news. Oodinium. The fish were quarantined, treated and moved to another tank. Aquarium without fish. There will be changes in the concept. I started to form a new landscape. Adding some SPS.

Gorgeous tank and clean algae! Some questions and I will be very happy if you could answer them:

How do you manage to keep the macros free of hair algae? (especially those flat garcilia).
How much do you dose for trace elements and iodine?
Does the clownfish host at the Borneman anemone (Phymanthus buitendijki)?
What are the advantages of low par/long photoperiod? Does the SPS seem to be effected?

I have a macro tank and I have been shifting it to a coral quarantine tank on the basis of all macros. Hopeing I can learn form you success!

Thank you. Many questions. I will try to answer in order. Clownfish Ocellaris and Percula host in sand anemones. Tested in more than one aquarium.

I don't think there are any advantages. It's more convenient for me. And I need low light areas at the edges.

The biomass of the right algae is large, hair algae do not grow)

Yes, I dose the macroelements nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, iron, as well as iodine and trace elements. But the dosage will not tell you anything. I now use only our local supplements. They are sold only here in Russia. I recommend focusing on the user tigahboy's experience with supplements.
