Same here - Seems to be the only thing with the execption to Bristle worms, that reproduce in my tank.

I also see a lot of those really tiny snails that only come out at night. I dont remember what they are called.

Oh yeah, Collonista. I know that they arenet pyramid or sundials because those are invasive.

I used to clean my glass every two or three days. My tank was really overstocked. Flow was not that good, I had a lot of live rock. Corals were starting to get so close that my water quality started to be afected. I decided to start all over again and removed cleaned all rocks with fresh saltwater. Also I removed all detritus from under the rock. Mine is a bare bottom tank. A closed loop was installed to improve the flow including under the rock. All filters, skimmer, sump, reators, etc were cleaned. A 100%; water change with RO water was done. I always used GFO but now I am runing the NP Biopellets.

Now after three months I can say that my glass stays clean for close to 10 days! Even feeding twice as much as before. I think that a combination of better flow, elimination of detritus from rocks and bottom, cleaning the sump and filters and corals not fighting and releasing toxins to the water are the main reasons for this change.

Whatever you are doing - Keep rocking on Sir - 10 days is amazing...wonder if those biopellets have something to do with it.

Looks like we extracted some good information out of this thread after all. Anytime you can reduce maintenance that's a good thing. It gives you more time to do other things, like post messages on a forum. :)
