Hi Everyone,

My reef tank is running about 2 months now, there were a lot of brown algae in the tank before but everything was fine and the water was very clear.
But about 3 days now, the algae are disappearing, and the water is very cloudy now. I did some water change but didn't help much. Is it usual and what should I do please?
I'm using API test kits and NO2 = 0, NO3 = 0, PO4 is about 0.15.

I’m in week 7 and at the same spot. I believe it is likely just a bacteria bloom. How did you cycle the tank and have you added bacteria to it?

Thanks for your response!
Yes, i'm thinking about a bacteria bloom too because I feel like it was a bit overdose when i added bacteria recently.
I use Seachem Pristine & Seed bacteria every week when i do the water change. But would algae make the water cloudy too when they gone?
