So I realized I have this web like brown algae and hair like brown algae growing everywhere in my tank, I got the phosphate down to .025 and still trying to go low, nitrate and nitrite are all in good place. the only thing I don't get is my AI blade grow setting, I realized it does not grow at night but only during the day, literally every 2 hours I can see my coral started to turn brown and green that I have to use my turkey blaster to blast it off.

Can anyone help with a recommendation on how to control this better?

going to do a water change this weekend.

I used chemiclean about 4 weeks ago and did a water change but it doesn't seem to fix the issue.

I am a newbie. so please bare with me.

Thanks

Turn your AI to all white and retake the pictures. I am pretty sure what you are dealing with is dinoflagelletes aka Dinos. There are many threads on this board on how to handle.
sorry this uns 90la tank with back chamber water level issue is messing with my nano protein skimmer, which now is outputting micro bubbles.

I am sure you are right, it seems like Dinos, since I am running only a 21 gallon UNS 90LA tank with media tower and protein skimmer, there is no room for UV light to battle this. any quick suggesitons on how I can remove those will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I realized my nitrate is at 0, perhaps that's the reason dino happened, what kind of nitrate or nitrite booster do I need to dose in order to raise alittle nitrate in my tank ? any suggestions ?

It's currently going under a 3 day black out with a

AA Aquarium Green killing Machine 9W Internal UV

I looked at some water sample under microscope, it seems to look like a grain of rice or leaf, moving in a circlar motion and always flipping itself. I believe its Scrippsiella

You should take a hose and siphon out as much of the Dino’s as you can. You can also blow off the rocks to get the Dino’s in the water column to be filtered by your media chamber and UV. One thing I did was buy a roll of aquarium filter fleece from Amazon, cut it into large rectangles and hang the pieces on the aquarium glass with plastic clips. This would capture a large amount of dinos which I rinsed out 1-2 times a day.
