So I've been seeing these little pellets in my dp for a few weeks now, not many, maybe 10 at a time. Well turns out my bag of Purigen ripped and now they are everywhere in my dp. Several thousand of these mm size pellets in the sand, on the rocks, in the ditritus, in the algae, everywhere.
What do I do?
I'm in the middle of a fluconazole treatment so that's just great that I only noticed now. So I don't want to do a water change cause the fluconazole is really expensive for me to get. But at the same time the Purigen that is everywhere is removing it.
That aside HOW do I remove them?
They are everywhere and they really don't float in the water column so I guess repeatedly suspending them for my filters to pick up will eventually get them, but what about the sand?

Siphon time.
I would focus on siphoning out the purigen into a net over a bucket and then dumping the water back into the tank. Some sand might have to be sacrificed but it is what it is.
