Hello can i start with saying Im new reefing and new to Reef2Reef :) I have been keeping freshwater fish for about 3 years now. I decided to make the switch to saltwater i believe in March 2019. I have had a FOWLR tank since then. I recently have decided to move forward with corals. A buddy of mine was moving so he gave me some of his corals . I set up a QT for them ( basic 10G / HOB AC70 / Maxi Jet 400/ Hipagero Light **will upgrade as soon as i return back to work** ). I currently have 10 corals in it. So i have noticed in the DIY Eggcrate frag rack i've noticed some type of looking algae i've never encountered before. Should i be worried or just let it be? I was hoping you guys on this can help a fellow reefer out it would gratefully appreciated.

Just let it be. Could be diatoms from adding the new egg crate causing a mini cycle
