Algae on glass question

I just got a new algae scrapper to scrape off my side panels on my tank and wc day isn’t till Wednesday would that much of thick algae mess with anything in my tank.

Skimmer and overflow maybe , unless you can suck it out or use paper towels to catch it

You should be fine. I usually do it every day or every other day just because I don't like looking thru the film.

Mine is the super green thick stuff that’s been built up for a few weeks got tired of using a debit card so I ordered a 30” scraper blade
