My parameters seem to be good, in the safe zone atleast, but still some bad algae growth? Any ideas why? I dont overfeed nor do I have the light on too much. Also Weird gunk in the back where filter is located.

Algae is often not best controlled by lowering nutrients because that can risk corals being starved. Using an increased clean up crew is often more effective. :)
