So my levels in tank are :
Nitrates :5ppm
Phosphate : 0.05
Calcium 420
Nitrite : 0

Lights are on for 8hours total. Ramp up in blues for 30 min then whites stay on all the time except for the last hour which blues stay on. Total time is 8 hours.

Problem is I keep having this bronze color algae . What could be the issue ? I feed one cube a day of mysis or brine . Only have 5 fishes ( 2 clowns , goby, blenny , cardinal ). Have a 75 gallon with sump and skimmer .

It looks like diatomes, does it blow off easily and does it come back?
What is your flow like?

Could be Cyanobacteria or Dinoflagellates. Diatoms just does not appear in a 15 month old tank unless you have lots of silicates.

I have a gyre . Flow is good enough to grow Acro . I have an rodi system si I do t think it has silicates . Tds is always below 10 . It comes off with mag float buts it’s not your regular film on glass it’s copperish color . Unless that’s how it’s suppose to look .
