Hey!
So I have a theory that having the lights on and growing different algaes helps keep QT tanks more stable and established.
Especially with small systems like 10g.

Is there any science to that though?
Or totally in my head..

I feel like I had more swings before I started doing that, and had to change water super often to compensate

It would uptake ammonia/nitrite/nitrate but as to whether its enough to make an impact I don't know.
