Hi

I have a Cade S1500 with I believe is 1/2 in thick glass Looking for a Algea Magnet with a actual metal scrapper

Thanks Mike

Tunze scrapper is what I use!

I have both. a Tunze and the flipper. Tunze seems to “glide” better (feels lighter) and has less risk of sand scratching your tank based on the design that allows sand to easily fall away from the metal blade, but I prefer the flipper float. I feel the felt part of the flipper does a better job of cleaning the glass.

So get both. If you have tough algae that needs to be scraped, the Tunze works better, but if you want to quickly clean your glass with felt, the flipper is superior, imo.
