Hey, is your phos "8", "0.8", or "0.08" ?

Cleanup crew would be great right at the first sign of algae, so yes. Could be dino or diatoms, you got a pic of the algae?

Algae is normal.

Add animals to eat it and get a decent glass cleaner - worthwhile spending money on a good one.

PO4 needs to come down if it is 8. Here's a R2R thread on it

I'll add that your salinity is a bit high. Shoot for 1.025 (35 ppt).
Yes the salinity is high this last water change was a large one and I used the fish stores water and they mixed that batch a touch hot and looking now my pho is not an 8 that's just my dyslexia kicking in I'm using a hanna meter for that one in ppb and it was 12 so if my math is right that works out to .03ppm I think

Please post pics under white light intensity for I.d. and also
Salinity high- bring down to 1.025-1.026
Phos- best at .06 - .1 (hopefully not a 8 as that will do it)

Add cleaner snails such as :
Astrea
cerith
turbo grazer
trochus

A Pencil urchin

8-10 Caribbean blue leg hermits

Are you using RODI water or tap water from the faucet ?

Is tank at or near a window?

Using RODI from local fish store (until I get mine set up) tank is in a dark room I have ordered a clean up crew from reef cleaners should be here in the morning and as for the clean up crews what I have being delivered in the am is

30 Dwarf Ceriths
8 Nassarius
10 Florida Ceriths
8 Astraea Snails
5 Assorted Hermits
2 Emerald or Ruby Mithrax Crabs

All in witch I've been told are "coral safe"

Just as an assurance as it does happen, check the water you purchase from LFS to assure it’s not high in phosphate as many stores are unaware until someone speaks up
