I turn on my tank and this is what I see! I have seen there little arms coming out of the sand bed when feeding. I have never seen them on glass what are they and do I need to shut down tank and find another hobby like day drinking?

Yeah, they're good detrivores, definitely a beneficial thing to have. They mostly live in sand but will live in rocks and explore the tank as well. As far as I know, nothing eats them.. They don't get too big, and they breed pretty regularly. Can't usually buy them, you have to get them from another reefer. You may find people who ask you for them in the future as you start selling corals and meeting people.

Long story short -- very beneficial clean up crew critter. Something everybody should have.
