First time using all Hanna test and reading 6.7 what should I do how can I raise it safely

If you've been doing regular water changes this could be a test error.

At the end of my reagent bottle my tests were also low, I got new reagent and was more normal.

Did another test using Red Sea and Hanna was correct

Kh 6.7

Phosphate 0.03 ppm

Nitrate 11.7 ppm

Salinity 1.026

Calcium 440 ppm

Temp 78 *F

Just dose whatever alk supplement u got slowly over few days then check to see how much alk raised. U need to dose daily after and check every few daysvto fine tune ur dosing so alk stays stable where u want it

It's really dead on too! Just get a cheap scale from Amazon that can measure down to 0.00g and you are set!

I just finished doing a 20 % water change and my all went from 6.7 to 6.6

It’s alway has been 8-9 never had it this low I been using the same stuff since the start

Can it be my salt I just start a new bag but it say salt in good indefinitely

Yeah that is a low ALK salt..I use that when my Alk is high. Maybe switch to Reef Crystals for the next water change if you do not want to dose alk.

If so any suggestions on good salt i have a evo 13.5 with torch hammer acan monti Goni and zoa I feel it the salt i just open a new bag and since i used the new bag is when my alk has dropped

Reef crystals since you're low on ALK. It's at 11-14 dkh

Yeah that is a low ALK salt..I use that when my Alk is high. Maybe switch to Reef Crystals for the next water change if you do not want to dose alk.

I never did that and afraid of getting a spike after I’m still new so if I am wrong I’ll take any advice
