Hey guys been looking for 1 more fish to fit in with the rest of my little guys. To bring more contrast in. Looking for something "peaceful - mildly territorial". Nothing that's going to eat coral, snails, and shrimp. And nothing that's going to be a big butthole bully later on. Something all black.

Only thing I've come across is the black cardinalfish. Looking to keep it under 4".

Any ideas? Or am I SOL? No angels.

Now I don’t know of any completely black Slatwater fish, but I do know some black Saltwater fish lol. The ones that I know that only get about 4” are the Black Nox Angelfish and the Pygmy Yellow tail Angelfish. They arent completely reef safe but it’s something close.

my caribean black clingfish fits the bill. Its pure black, doesnt get bigger than 3"-4", doesnt eat corals or bother inverts, and just sticks to himself, actually just sticks to the back glass, literally clings to the glass, its pretty neat.

Never seen one for sale in any LFS, I will not order online anymore due to unpredictable fish quality. They do look super cool though!! I'll have to ask my LFS about them.

I know the kamoharai is only mostly black, plus they're harder to find. I'm partial to them though
I would consider this but I've never seen it in any LFS I go to. I also stopped ordering online it's been a huge hassle in the past. Looks really cool.
