Is it possible? It seems that the buffering action/slow release of the formate would keep a reliable system of automation from happening. Has anybody done it, and if so, how? I am using a Neptune Apex

It's seems possible, IMO, but you want the feedback loop to be slow to respond.

I personally do not use controllers, and have never done this, but if you limit it to making adjustments to the dose only once a day and don't allow the change to be large (say, limit it to adjusting by 0.2 dKH max each time), it would likely work out.

A larger or faster time frame for adjustment does seem likely to cause some excessive changes to alk from over dosing then underdosing on and on.
