I NEED another display tank and have an idea how to convert my current sump (above the tank) into another display while keeping it a sump. . . Currently sump is 10 gallon tank (fills to about 7 gallons), but the rack it is on was made for a 20gallon long. I plan to get a 20L and convert 1/3 of the tank into an all in one/sump (about 6 gallons) and use the other 2/3 as a display. . . HAHAHA

The holes didn’t come out as clean as I would have liked, some scalloping on the inside, gasket should cover just fine.

The cutting board turned out to be polypropylene. I read it is reef safe, a little flimsy given it’s thickness I guess no less flimsy than a thin piece of acrylic:

Got the filter sock holder installed. . . seems to work OK. Then went ahead and through it all together over the weekend!!! I was going to try to mess around with a gait valve and try to stop the bubbles. . . but was too lazy and I find the conical strainers make less bubbles than the flat ones anyone. . .still have bubbles, but less.
