My friend Michael Vargas took these pictures of the altered ego monti at the display tank of fish2morrow's display tank. Too cool not to share. Enjoy!

Yeah, I thought so as well. After someone pointed it out to me in the show tank. I now think I need one....I was never a big monti guy, but this one seems pretty cool.

Its possibly the most finicky monti thats out heres mine when i first got it. Its now just green with blue polyps buy its growing like crazy
Yeah, I thought so as well. After someone pointed it out to me in the show tank. I now think I need one....I was never a big monti guy, but this one seems pretty cool.

Really?! So it is one of those ones that grow, but they are imposible to color up right most of the time...I have a couple acros like that...it honestly drives me nuts when they grow fast, but will do nothing color wise, when everything else in the tank looks great...

From what ive heard and experienced. You have to be basically lucky with placement. The color is sensitive to light, they say its the only rainbow monti that benefits from intense lighting

Haha, yeah. That efflo is a beast!!! I forgot what fish2morrow calls it. It is one they found. There was someone on Facebook getting them to ship it. But it is a beast!! I have seen it in person, and it is the size of a dinner plate!
