Looking to see what options are out there for my IM 25 lagoon. I'm currently using the IM desktop filter socks. I have 6 pairs and they seem to be clogging up quickly even after cleaning them out. Looking for something more economical vs the $50 set to keep replacing them. I've been trying to track down a 3d printed holder that will hold just a regular filter sock, but am not finding anything. I'm not really interested in doing the caddy, but was thinking of a filter floss holder, but all the ones i've seen that get 3d printed are very shallow.
So what are ya'lls thoughts or hacks for mechanical filteration on your AIOs?

I went with floss on my DIY AIO, I made the caddy, seems to be the go too for ease and economics, its not wet yet, but should happen next weekend when i am done with the aquascape.

I'm kinda with ya here as the 7" filter socks for my waterbox are not easiy found except from WB themselves.

That said, I'm more on board with swapping them out every couple days... For me, it isn't that hard, and provides valuable filtration.

You want the floss holders deeper? Are you trying to stack them?
