Tpi mention alufab so I assume you mean a light mount not a light bar. Light bars are actually a type of light.
It sounds like your working backwards. You should decide what lights you want to run first then have the mount designed to work with that light or lights. Not the other way around.

AI just for fun .
AluFab Inc. specializes in custom-built aluminum extrusion aquarium stands and modular structural framing. While they do not manufacture LED fixtures themselves, they design and build custom "light bars" and canopy mounts (often referred to as T-slotted light arms or posts) that attach directly to their extruded frames

I'm not familiar with the alufab mounts but I have always found mounts to be light specific, or the lights needs a type of mount to attach to the alufab mount. Maybe post a pic of the mounts and light to see if someone can assist. I had someone design my light mount that holds six noopsyche K7s. If no bracket is available for your light someone may be able to 3D print something?

Why do you think you made a mistake?

Anyways best to list the full tank dimensions, what you plan on raising, what lights you have now, what's your favorite " look", do you have a budget, and are your current tank mounts made for the back and a single light or a full bar across the tank?

Alufab is a custom house that dabbles in aquarium "stuff" so probably had solutions for common things like Radions.
