Hello guys So planning to make an stand using tslot 4040 medium 4.2x2.2x3ft stand dimensions lmk if i need to change anything

Yes, please extend the vertical for the lights to the bottom, add side plates where the light arm meets it, and add a long 45deg gusset support to it. As shown it’s likely to droop significantly.

Okay thanks, ill do that would 4040 medium be enough for the size im doing ?

Actually im from india. So i cant specifically say u and i feel like its universal aswell so i dont think any issues would occur unless the mm is wrong?

As long as I’m aware of what the units are, going back and forth isn’t an issue.

That’s what I was worried about; that is the hollow profile. It’s meant for light duty. You want the one where the “arms” are solid.

Oh okay thanks ill note that im getting medium guage which is used commonly i think in building stands,and here i made some changes lmk if they r gud thanks

Connect this to both the top and bottom. It needs to resist a lot of twisting and is unlikely to be strong enough as shown.
