Alveopora not doing so good, help needed

I got this alveopora about a month ago, took it about a week to get acclimated and have full polyp extension. About a week ago I had to switch up a powerhead to get a better more random flow so my torches were happy. The alve didn’t seem to like this. Slowly over days I saw less and less polyp extension and now a couple polyps aren’t out at all. Only thing that has changed is it is getting less flow now, do they need more flow to be happy?

Totally makes sense then because it started getting less extension when flow was changed. Here’s a pic from last night when it was most severe. Sorry for the heavy blues it was at night when I noticed

Haha. Some beautiful specimens you got there. I’ll try and find it some heavier flow. What’s the highest par they can withstand?

i do not check par ,but under heavy light ,led stunner strips and t 12 vho...i'm going with sunburn par.. ;Facepalm:)

Well I got home and it looks even worse. I don’t think a lack of a little bit of flow could make it look that bad. I did move it to some more flow. I’m still in the process of dialing in my doser. My alk dropped from 10.2 to 9.1 in 5 days, could that be the cause? And also my nitrates are at 25ppm... they’ve been there about a month and I’m trying to lower them. Everything else looks happy for the most part except my mushrooms, one is way smaller then normal and the other is bulging out weirdly

Im at work now but it’s really nothing to show. Just the skeleton with a little bit of the white from the polyps showing. I don’t know what else it could be. I just ordered a couple ICP tests though. Thinking I might be missing some trace elements
