I own a 120 gallon display with a 40 gallon sump.
I culture my own Tig pods and Nano phytoplankton
I feed frozen food once a day and TDO pellets multiple times a day with nori.
Is there anything anyone would recommend to know before acquiring one of these pairs?

As long as your system is mature enough to have pod populations within the tank, you should be good. culturing your own is of course great, but the mandarins tend to be snackers rather than eating all at once.

I forgot to mention my tank is one year old. At night I see a lot of pods but I see a whole lot of these bigger ones that I think are isopods.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
