Hi Futuretotm great job!!! on your 525XL.

I'm also in the process to build a reefer 525xl, wondering how to do a hard plumbing like you did to transform from metrics to standard, would you share the parts list with me? and how in the world did you connect the manifold to the redsea drainage pipes??? BRS has those adapters and I bought them but the are useless for the drainage connection. Hope to hear from you. Thanks in advance!

Heres another update:

I purchased the LifeGard pro max 90 watt for my 139gallon based on @Badilac thread/advice. It truly is a great UV. I was wanting the 55, however due to being OOS, they offered me a 90 at a discount price and I jumped.

Didn't think it through, but it does raise my tank temp from 76 to 78-79F, So I might plan on just using it at night time. I did adjust my AC vent to blow towards the tank, so lets see what happens.

You can see the nest of wires starting to accumulate:

This is my least favorite part.
Mounted the power supply's on light diffuser, only afterwards did I realize I should have mounted them vertical instead of horizontal (heat rises).
My best friend through this was my label maker.

Ok the real lights are on, even though Dana said three would be fine, I went with four anyway. Got some CaribSea arches, LR from Saltybottom soon, I work right next to them so can't wait to hand pick my own rocks soon.

Glad to see everything is coming together, its looking like a very clean setup. Make sure those hoses don't kink up, im sure the pictures were taken before it was all up and running but you wouldn't want to slow the flow. Depending on the BTU's all the other equipment produce the UV can certainly raise the tank temp easily. Adding a UV to my system was the difference of not needing a chiller at all to needing one all the time. My system was right on the edge of holding steady as it was and the UV just tipped the scale of too many BTU's.
