Amazing Brain Coral, aka Australophyllia Wilsoni

A couple weeks ago I nervously purchased a Wilsoni from extremecorals. I was nervous because of what I'd read concerning their difficulties and the price of this little coral., the most I've ever paid for a little coral. I was concerned early on that the colors weren't there, but it's been feeding on a diet of live food. After keeping it just two weeks, it's now among my favorites. It's colors have changed and intensified and it's just a stunning piece o' coral, the nicest in my new reef. I hope to add another once I can afford it.

Here's a current photo without all the blue light. It's really bright blues, reds, green, orange, and lots in between. I bought it from extremecorals.com. It was $250'ish if memory serves. I love buying from those guys, one of the few sites which sells true LARGE colonies vs smalls and frags.

with the blues cranked up it's really bright.

Yeah I bought mine at around that same size from my lfs by me and I paid 140 for mine

Yeah, pricing is generally based on colors more than size.
