Decided to start a build thread even the tank has been up and running for a few months.

I found this on a local reef site for a really good price so I snagged it.

From there when I got it home I took off the counter top and purchased a few things:

two ocean revive t247B lights
Aquamaxx FRS-M reactor (holds seachem matrix)
Used icecap 3K wave maker

the proceeded to move things from an established tank

Once I got everything the parameters established I bought a CUC from reef cleaners then then started to move over some of my corals

Even though everything is doing well I don’t care for my skimmer or my sump so for Christmas I got myself a bubble magus curve 5 elite, a sump baffle kit, a new 20 gallon long and a jcp-3000 pump

I still am in the process of siliconing in the baffles so the sump isn’t on the tank yet nor is the new skimmer or pump. In the near term I replaced the icecap 3K (to much flow) and replaced it with hygger eco-slim waver maker

1 blue hippo tang the size of a quarter (will be moved to my 150 then rehomed after it outgrows the 150)

I have noticed my pictures are very blue so I also bought a orphek phone lens filter to take better pics. In the mean time I have started to place the corals in their hopefully final place in the tank (right side of the tank)

Video of the tank - not sure if the video will show

so next steps for my tank is to make sure I maintain parameters so that the various corals I have continue to grow, encrust and do well
