Anampses Lennardi Wrasse....

I picked up one of these from TSM Corals today. TSM probably has around 20+ of these in stock, varied sizes. They are all eating, healthy and active. They have gone through meds in QT for 4 weeks, so I picked up today...... I know these are Expert fish. I plan on checking in on this thread and keeping a journal of how my fish is doing. I can only hope he does well and lives a long time.....

They are truly stunning fish. Under my Radion lights, the blue color is spectacular....

He is about 4 Inches....

He after his initial introduction yesterday he buried himself after about 10-15 minutes and slept rest of the day. He woke up today and was extremely active, swimming and exploring all over the tank, picking at rock's and sand. He joined the crew and ate well...

Amazing haul !!! Am a little surprised to see no qt done as they are notorious for carrying intestinal parasites .
Anyways, as you already know - feed multiple times a day . Most importantly, these are a little cool water species and tend to do very well if you can have temparature around 75 . Ideal would be around 72-73 but I guess thats difficult for most of us without a chiller .

The fish at TSM Corals the supplier where we are getting these put their fish through a strict QT Process... Treatment includes: Kanamycin, prazi, nitrofurazin, and copper....
They were put through these medications over a 4 week period before the public was able to take home.... A service Ray at TSM does free of charge. His fish are healthy eating and ready to go.

Mine was the same, picking at the rocks and sand bed all day. He went under at 7pm right before actinic hits.

TSM is definitely the place to go for high end fish. They had 6 of these really common *cough* anthias last time I was there......

I plan on getting all my leopards and Anampses from them.

Day 3 he’s seems to be very social. He missed breakfast at 7:45 sleeping in, but got dinner at 3pm... He also went to bed early..... 5pm. The other wrasses go to sleep between 7:30 and 8:30pm.

I noticed today he didn’t spit out his food much. I thought that’s what they do??

That’s awesome. What do you feed? Mine seems to really like bloodworms.
