This weekend I plan on drilling my "new to me" tank!

It's 63 x 24 x 30 and in an effort to keep it as clean as possible I've decided to go with an external overflow by EMS.
Existing weir will be removed and drains holes will be silicone closed with a piece of glass...it has 2 - 1" bulk heads.
I'm also really considering implementing a close loop system for additional flow plus no need for additional powerheads in the tank.

Consensus is, Close Loop are beneficial when done right!
Here are my thoughts...hence why; if I'm doing this correctly.
Drilling 3/4 way up from the bottom on the back glass and using a low Profile Bulk Head Again...try to keep thing clean.
On the return from the CL, Loc-Line Y fittings and Random Flow Generators
Since I will be using sand, I didn't want to use the bottom drain and have a pipe sticking out above the sand.
CL pump would be a Vectra M2 as I could tie that back to my backup DIY power bank battery which also run my MP40's.

Thoughts??
