Just got home with this 70 gallon from CoryC in East Tennessee and all these goodies. Some people never learn :)

What are the plans?

First I'll get everything cleaned up and sorted out. Then I'll build a new larger stand that will fit the sump, the top off container and my liter meter etc... Then I'll paint the back of the tank black and get everything tweaked and leak tested. Then I get to transfer over everything in my JBJ 30 gallon. The goal is to be done well before the swap :)

Sounds good to me, will this be the thread you do it all on?

I guess so, just got it all home tonight. I've never really well documented a build but I might start now :) I'm sure I'll post updates in this thread. Might do a build thread as well.

Since I love this tank I think I might have to keep you reminded to uodate this thread often! ;)

Well then. I am so very glad to see you stepping back into the hobby man! Good luck with the new setup. I am interested in seeing how you lay it all out and your equipment selections.

Thanks Lindsey!

Been a while since I've had a "real" reef tank...with a sump and a skimmer, auto top off and dosing and all that fancy stuff :)

Dude welcome back! I'm fired up about this!

The honey do list is getting a lot smaller today so I can get started on the tank. My wife might end up liking this purchase. Especially if a bunch of stuff gets done I've been putting off for months

Cleaned the skimmer and several pumps and other things today after a good vinegar soak today. The tank, the sump and lots of plumbing are next.
