Getting a little too much salt creep in this filter sock area so I made a lid for it tonight…

Added a third 3” connection pipe between the sumps to get more water from sump #1 behind the tank to sump #2 in the other room gravity fed to better even out the water levels in each… works great!!

Built a raised platform for the rock in sump #1, moved rock over from sump #2.

Moved the media reactors over to sump #2, built a divider to keep the angels away from the corals and to keep the algae in the first section of the sump under the lights, dialed in the octopus skimmer and dialed in the pump intake section of sump #2…

Up next:

-Build new adjustable float valve mount and silicone it to sump wall

-Install two part dosers

-CaRx & Sulfur Denitrator

-Plumb in hospital and 300/500 gallon flow through

-Extend main drain for 300/500 (one behind skimmer)

-Build frag tank stand over pumps

-Build floor over connection pipes

-Mount Radions (over sump or frag tank/area)

-Move MP40’s to sump #1

I’m sure there will be more to do as well… LOL

Love the catwalks for that public aquarium feel! You'll have to raise your roof higher over the display so you can install one there!

Your eyes are correct... I have to walk on the solid part but the gratings give me another few inches before I fall into the sump. (they make more heavy duty gratings I can buy if I find the catwalk is too slim)

Started building the framework for the frag tank (5’x3’ footprint) and QT system…

Also started the elevated walkway over the connection pipes. This will be covered in plywood.

Here is a view of the tank with some of the blue lights on at the end of the day.

You can see what time it is by the reflection of the TV on the other viewing panel! (Watching Sunday Night Football) LOL!
