Can a nem harm coral just by being close to it. Or does it have to physically touch coral to harm it.
I have a new nem and about 4" away are zoas and a mushroom. Both aren't doing too good since the nem was introduced.

When the anemone is fully inflated, does it get close to the others? If it's possible with flow that the tentacles could come in contact with the corals, then yes, the anemone is stinging them and causing the issue....otherwise as said above, it's something else. What are your water parameters?
