Anemone closed completely up

Hey my rose bubble tip anemone shrunk up, started expelling brown stringy stuff and closed completely up.. Went from about 4-5inc across to the size of a half dollar! This is a pic of him now

I have no idea what to do, I don't have a qt set up although I have a spare hob bio wheel filter and spare heater... Making ro water now please help

Anemones do that, the issue is if it becomes a chronic problem. The anemone may be getting ready to split, mad about water quality......no one knows why and what to do unless it's a water quality issue which can be resolved with water changes or a lighting issue which can be resolved by changing out bulbs or replacing a fixture. Give the anemone 24-48 hours and see if the anemone returns to it's normal state.

Mine expels stuff and shrinks every few days. I thought this was just a normal way for them to expel wastes......

He's starting to open a little now, the brown stuff is stuck on the rock with some polyps now, should I pull out the turkey Baster or just leave it lol?? He's never done this before and I've had him about a month and a half
