My bubble tip anemone has been shrinking and not expanding for a few weeks now. I'm not sure what's going on, nothing has changed in the tank and the parameters have stayed the same. About a week ago the anemone started to move, it moved to a lower spot on top of my GSP. And from there it has just gotten worse. Any help is appreciated. I've had the anemone for about 7 months
Tank information:
Tank age: 1 year old
Salinity: 1.025
Temp: 79
Phos: .04
Nitrate: 3.5
Dkh: 8.5
Cal: 445
Ph 8.2

Could it be the lighting in your tank? Are you making adjustments to it?

Good Afternoon,
I bought a green tip anemone at the tail end of January 2024. It was good for a week or so until I noticed changes; the tentacles started to shrivel and at one point the mouth was oozing. I did a water change that evening and it seemed to perk up.
It improved for a few days and then went back to semi-closed and discolored.

Everything else in the tank is thriving (including a white long tentacled anemone)

Water parameters:
SG: 1.024
Ph: 7.8 - 8.1 (Measured 7.8 at 8am)
Ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite are 0ppm
Alkalinity: 11 dkh
Calcium: 470
Temperature: 78°F

Tank is 5 months old.

Image 2246 contains a piece of shrimp,
I was trying to see if the anemone would take it.

I would appreciate any advice as I’m back in this hobby after 20 years.
Thank you in advance.
